Hello everyone! WV newbie here

I live in the Teays valley/winfield area. Originally from Charleston. We love to watch the chicks. We can already see some of the personalities comming out of the chicks. Lots of fun!

You'll find some good advice and tips here: Hatching Eggs & Raising Chicks The best advice I got was to add a little unfiltered ACV (apple cider vinegar) to their drink water. Ratio is 4-5 tablespoons to a gallon water. It keeps the chicks healthy and helps prevent pasty butt. (poop clogging up their backsides, making it impossible for them to relieve themselves)

I think the usual ratio of ACV to water is 1 tablespoonful to a gallon. 4-5 T sounds like way too much.
