Hello,
My name is Christy and I have been raising chickens for 3 years. I am a 24 yr old registered nurse in graduate school so my schedule is busy, but I always find time to hang out with my chickens. I have 14 in total, egg layers and a selection of bantams. My favorites are my silkies and seramas. I actually just incubated some of my bantams eggs for the first time and am happy to report 3/4 have hatched and are doing very well. I believe they will be silkie serama cross (I plan on separating after more start laying). I am very excited to try new things and make my chickens happier. They are something I love to find in common with people and could talk forever about them. I have used this site for many years to answer many questions (including curing chickens of sour crop, and wry neck). I am very thankful for the community here so I am happy to join you all
Thank you for being so welcoming and for all the support!
