Hi everyone, just wanted to say hi. I've stalked this site for awhile now and joined not too long ago as I needed help sorting some cockerels.

I have 18 chickens I was thinking 6-8 max hahaha

I have 4 EE fingers crossed for girls
2 California greys turns out they are both boys
1 silver sebright started looking like a boy
1 Barred rock that I'm pretty sure is a boy
4 RIR's had 5 but Spicy turned out to be a boy and of boy was he ever :)
3 Silkie crossing my fingers for all girls
1 bantom that I can't remember what she is :p
2 black sex link

I will have to rehome the boys but for now we are enjoying them.

The EE are 5 weeks and the rest are 6 weeks. I just finished our chicken coop and can't wait to share in the coop picture thread. I need to take more pictures :)

I'm sure I will have a ton more questions later on. Thanks for the awesome site!

Greetings from Kansas, Ohmyheart, and :welcome! Pleased you joined our community! Looks like you've experienced a little "chicken math" with that expanding flock! Happens to most us on BYC! As you've learned this is a friendly place so make yourself at home and ask any questions you might have! :weee

Welcome!

I hope you enjoy being a BYC member. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun.

If you would like to share pictures and stories of your flock, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out
