I just signed up and I’m having a problem with one of my hand raised chickens growing. They are about 4 months now

Thank you!! We’re feeding him the Bertlett Chicken Scratch and his poop looks healthy and like all the other chickens. I added a picture of her so you can see. I really appreciate the help!

Sorry to hear you are having a problem. Are you also feeding a growers pellet or just scratch?
What are the symptoms of the problem?

Are you in middle Tennessee? Chicken scratch isn't a complete feed. Can you get her a grower feed, something about 18% protein?

ETA: If you are in middle tn, let me know roughly where and I can probably suggest some feed sources.

I’m in South Carolina. And thank you! I didn’t know that you needed more than just scratch . Besides the growing, she seems just fine and acts like all the other chickens for the most part. There are times when she acts more like a chick than she should for her age, is this a problem?
