Hello everyone my name is flock Master 1990 and I have been raising my chickens for about for months now it's only been recently that I have been forced to introduce new baby chicks into the PIN however my Rhode Island red is not taking it as well as my white one still not 100% sure which one is the hand and which one is the rooster butt I've had to put my Rhode Island red into isolation for 24 hours now because it is being extremely hostile towards the new baby chicks and I'm at a point where I'm ready to put it on the dinner table I don't know what else to do someone please help me

In general, chickens don't take well to change and adding birds is definitely a change. Your RIR's behavior is normal so don't be too hasty to put him on the table. Make a temporary divider between the older birds and the younger where they can see each other but not come into physical contact. After a couple of weeks (or a bit longer) you can take the divider down. Add an extra waterer and feeder so the younger ones don't get chased off the food and give them places they can hide from the older birds.

Best wishes!
