Hi there, recent chicken addict. Have been wanting to do this for almost 20 years, finally jumped in headfirst when tractor supply did the peep thing in late March. Got a mixture of banties. They are 4 and 1/2 months old now.
Ended up with a male and female gold laced Wyandotte, 5 welsummer hens and one rooster, and a female mille fleur d'uccle and one very silly silver duck wing old English rooster. Unfortunately the welsummer rooster ended up being a psycho and had to be culled already, attacked anything and everything from us to the hens and even put the old English in quarantine for injuries. The gold laced Wyandotte cockerel is "King Arthur" his mate is "Lady Guenivere", the mille fleur is "Curious Georgie" and the goofy old English is "Sir Peepsalot".

I'm looking for help in finding a hatchery where I can purchase white laced Wyandotte bantam eggs. I'm going to slowly convert my flock to all Wyandotte bantam with the exception of the mille fleur, she is a broody hen and I want to keep her for raising new chicks. I want to have a dual purpose flock of meat and egg birds but want to keep all the same breed and the Wyandotte fit the bill for that in bantam size.
Do any of you know a place that sells what I'm looking for? All the major ones I've found so far only want to sell me mixtures or so not have the specific one I'm looking for. Thank you in advance.

Polish hen house, thank you! It was one of those tractor supply deals. Want to warn anyone thinking of purchasing these pre-made store coops. It tells you in the fine print that you don't get to see until you get it home and unpacked that they are NOT DESIGNED to withstand rain or snow or wind...also the screen is only held in with 1/8" staples, the dog pushed the whole section in just pressing her had against it to get a better look. So I had to repaint it with paint designed for the climate I live in and add insulation and laminate sheeting over the insulation to keep them from eating it, and I had to add a dozen braces and supports to keep the wind from destroying it, buy a pneumatic stapler and 3/4" staples at Lowe's and some heavy gauge screen...What started out as a $270 coop ended up with almost $600 wrapped up in it to make it useful. Will not make that mistake again. For what I have on that coop I could've built them a Taj Mahal if I went to the 84 Lumber and bought wood, screws, screen and paint.

:welcome Your birds are so pretty! Love that face your dog is making!
Lol, she isn't too find of the idea that she isn't allowed to go after them. My other dog Ozzy is a total sweetheart and loves everything so wasn't a problem to train, they follow him around the yard. The one in the photo is Gracie Lou it took a couple weeks of training to be able to trust her around them.

She still doesn't look quite sure about them! :lau Do they taunt her? My chickens love to terrorize the dogs.
