Here are those darker circles I was talking about. They're hard to see in these photos but I circled where the egg gets somewhat darker

The candling isn't perfect, i know.
the first place you will notice veining is right at the top of the egg near the air cell.
I can't quite see what dark circle you're talking about, sorry.
 
It's not very good in the pictures, I admit, but it's at the bottom of the egg when I do see it. It does seem to move though when I rotate the egg.
The first signs of like you will see are pink/red veins.
You really should be able to see them by now so I'm afraid your egg may not be developing.
 
Yes, I have a probe attached to the heating element to keep the temperature steady.

I just pitched the eggs, drumroll please....


Maybe a few indications of the possibility of an embryo but no embryos. This just makes me want to try again!
Where about are you located?
You could mail order fertile quail eggs.
