I'm Kark from Nairobi, Kenya. I discovered this forum from my Google search results and it's proven to be quite resourceful especially to me as a budding duck farmer. I started keeping ducks earlier this year in May, with two Muscovies - male and female. So far I have added five jumbo Pekins and five Khaki Campbells. I had never kept ducks before but I must admit it has been quite an interesting venture, one I would recommend to anyone considering keeping birds. My family has been keeping chickens for as long as I can remember but I chose to veer off and venture into duck farming. I'm a chef by profession and my plan is to someday open a restaurant with a specialty in duck cuisines. I hope to learn as much as I can from this community and hopefully help someone too in return.

Hi Kark and welcome to BYC. Please sell fresh duck to our local butcheries (I wouldn’t wish to be selfish, but Westlands would be a good start ). Good quality, tender duck is difficult to come by in nbo so I wish you the best in your business and please PM me if your business succeeds

Not yet. I want to stabilize duck farming first.
