Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? We are new to chickens. My husband has been doing some reading and research.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? 10 baby chicks
(3) What breeds do you have? Australorp
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? We are getting into farming and planting fruits and vegetables. Now we wanted to start raising chickens. I love animals and wanted to have our own eggs.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Reading and listening to music
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. I don’t have any other pets allergic to cats and dogs. We don’t have any children of our own, but my house is always filled with nephews, nieces and family. We love to grow our own vegetables and are very excited about raising our own chickens.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community? While looking up information on chickens, I came across your website. Today, I decided to join because I love how you reply to questions and give advice.
