Awesome name! Welcome to BYC. Those are some amazing looking ducks. We have 11, we love them some of my favorite animals on our farm.

Looks like your sheltie is a duck herder, my friend used to breed them many years ago.

Yes he loves the ducks and is an excellent herder! He's also very watchful over them and most of the time prefers to sit outside all day in the grass where the ducks are foraging. If one starts to wander off to far he will go get them to bring them back with the others and at night he pushes them all towards the coop. I don't even have to chase anyone when I go out in the evenings they are all in their coop and my sheltie (Gimli) is right there by the gate.

We're huge Lord of The Rings fans at my house and every fall we watch them from The Hobbit through to Return of The King so I could not resist naming our shaggy, short ,redheaded puppy at the time Gimli (Pic of Gimli taking a break from his hard work on the farm)
