My name is Sussexchic. I have 12 8 week old chicks. First time chicken owner, but lived on a family chicken farm all my life.

Trying to get my chicken coop door to work and cannot. Anyone else on here buy the 19" inWave Automatic Chicken coop door from Amazon? I need help. Everything turns on but the actuator will not work. I feel like there is something I have done wrong. Please help. Spent a lot of money on this thing and cannot return it now. The company is from China so that's even worse. No customer support at all.
