My name is Susan. A little over 2 years ago, I got my first chicken flock. Chickens are so happy and entertaining creatures. As the years progressed, I recently decided to add more chickens to my small flock. I now have 7 young chickens I am raising in a watermelon container in my spare bathroom. These young chicks will soon be blended with my two year older chickens. Right now, I bring the young chicks out for a few hours each evening to enjoy the grass and other birds while in a large dog cage. They love their time outdoors. I will also be glad when they are finally in the coop and free ranging. I have added 5 Easter Eggers to my flock and am so looking forward to those beautiful blue, green and pink eggs.
