Hi! My name is Amber and I just wanted to introduce myself. I signed up to get help, tips, info and to learn more things!
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? I don’t have chickens but currently have Pekin ducklings.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? I have two ducklings.
(3) What breeds do you have?
Pekin
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? Besides ducklings and being ducks being cute, I love how social and fun they are!
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I am in school full time for Psychology. I love to read but don’t have much time anymore between school, kids, and home stuff. I usually hang out with my kids and husband.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. I have four kiddos (two girls and two boys), have the two ducklings, two doggos and a leopard gecko. I am an animal lover! I am a licensed esthetician but no longer work in the beauty since I’ve decided to pursue Psychology.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
