(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?

I have ducks actually! I've been a duck owner for 5 years now.

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?

Sadly, just two girls at the moment. I lost 3 a couple weeks ago.

(3) What breeds do you have?

Rouen

(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?

They're so cute to watch, especially when they're splashing in their pool.

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?

Horses, dogs, gardening, swimming.

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.

(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community? I found BYC on a Google search and have been reading posts when I have questions come up for years now, but wanted to join now to ask some of my own questions and talk to other duck people.
