Very new to chickens, had few ducks couple of years ago and planning to have them again, love their eggs

Yesterday I was given two pair of 3 months old chickens, apparently from Asia but no clue on the breed

Found you guys as it seams there is no good app that I could use to identify the breed, also neighbour will be selling his flock and have there 4 varieties

Mostly want them for eggs but would be happy to breed

In a dog person, have 3 dogo de Presa Canario, and last addition was breeder by me.

I do not of agriculture and construction consulting

Chicks and two roosters have temporary coop, but in few months will be building new one for them so they can have as much land as possible but be protected or not molested by my dogs running around on the land

Welcome to BYC! Thanks for joining us.
Where in the world are you located? They look like some sort of game fowl or they might be a mix or a local breed. I don't think they will be the most proficient layers, but they will still give you some eggs.
I’m located in Tenerife in Canary Islands, owner/friend told me they type of Asian breed, he said they do lay ok amount of eggs but they’re small and mostly filled with yoke which is my preferred part of the egg. They tiny, would love to add some chicks but no rooster, will post question once I find out what are the 4 breeds German neighbour have it as she’s selling the flock

I heard or read somewhere tiny eggs are great for hard boiling. For some reason I never thought about it. I too like the yolk best, besides that I am allergic to egg white. Go figure.
My wife loves boiled, for me only running yolk and from time to time scrambled with bacon and onion, there I don’t care about the whites
