I first got chickens 2 years ago after having quail for a few years and I currently have 11 hens and 1 rooster. I also have 3 female turkeys that keep my rooster in line. I have silver laced Wyandotte, Easter Eggers, Blue Polish and Welsummer chickens. I love getting fresh eggs, feeding them snacks and hanging out with them. Especially when they scream in excitement for the treats.
