Ill start with where I'm from. I live in a small town in Indiana, between indianapolis and fort wayne, I have lived in this area most of my life, but have also spent a lot of time near bowling green ohio.
I have a great and patient husband.
we are both on our second marriage, and there are a total of 5 kids, 3 are his and they are all in thier 20s my 2 are ages 17 and 19.
we have 11 acres with 3 acre pond. with 2 rescued thoroughbred horses, 2 emus (both girls) several goats, rabbits (1 english lop, 2 fuzzy lops, and a mini rex) 3 turkeys, 8 telouse geese, several runner ducks and even more chickens. we both grew up inside city limits so we are still learning. but we are having a great time.
our chicken population consist of 2 standard cochins, 2 bantam cochins, 2 wyandot hens, and an assortment of mixed breed babies. I would love to have some showgirls but havent been able to find any near me yet
I have a labline imperial II incubator, and have been setting a small batch about every other week, all summer, and if I can find a male emu I plan on hatching them this winter. would love to be able to post pictures but dont have camera yet.
