My name is Carol...I'm just starting out...getting ready to hatch my first batch of chicks. Have tons of questions and hope you can all help me! My husband just wanted me to go buy chicks...he doesn't understand that I want to hatch my own...he just thinks it's a huge hassle and waste of time and money. Maybe for him...but I'm excited to start from just an egg! I grew up on a small farm and we always had chickens, ducks & geese and we hatched some ourselves when we were kids...it was exciting then and it still is now. Anyhow...just getting my incubator set up...and hoping I can start my first batch in a week or so
