You should post any particular questions you have. There's a lot to cover with chickens in general. :lol: As for eggs, we don't wash them unless they're particularly grotty, and that's okay to do.

i find that just brousing around you can find a wealth of info and also google-ing will lead ya right back to this website for onfo on a certain subject.

You don't need to wash your eggs unless they are really dirty.

I know you didn't know this but that is no problem now that you do know.

If you wait and let the soiled eggs dry out good you can brush
them with a brush with soft to medium firm bristle! The egg has
a film on it from the chicken that seals out germs when dried it
will wash off easily if it don't get dry! Also, if you refrigerate the eggs,
and want to try to hatch them this will cause them to not hatch!

Thanks for the info. I washed about 2 dozen already with antibacterial hand soap with warm water then frig. So far i haven't got sick. But right now i have 2 dozen that i haven't wash yet. I will wash them as i eat them :). I still learning lol . Hope you having a good day Clyde
