Doing research I kept coming across this site so I decided to join. So here is a little about me, I have 3 Isa Browns hens 3 roosters, and 6 Barred Plymouth Rock hens. I'm hoping to expand the coop this spring and introduce a few more hens. I just started with 6 last spring and absolutely love having chickens, and it's so nice to see so many people who love them as well.

Yeah that was the first 6 I got, didn't know much at the time and they were according to the store all hens, just two different breeds. Later, when they started crowing, I realized they just gave me two different names for the same breed, and the three males were just different colors because they were sex-linked. Needless to say I'm doing research before I buy any new breeds lol.
