We live in the Limousin region of France and have kept 6 free range chickens for two years. We keep them mainly for delicious fresh eggs for us and for our Gite customers but find them very entertaining to watch scratching round the large garden every day. We have little problem with slugs and snails but also have to re-assemble the compost heaps on a regular basis and watch over anything new that we have planted. We were given a link to your site by a friend and look forward to posting and sharing knowledge.
