Hi, we are Justin and Naomi, we started having chicken friends two years ago. They are:
Harriet (Hattie), a fearless and curious RIR, Dorothy (Dot), Silver-laced Wyandotte and Cleopatra (Cleo), a noisy Welsumer. They live in a big coop I built from an ugly old hot tub that needed to be chopped into pieces. All has been great until the last couple of months, when first Hattie became sick, followed by big, beautiful, healthy (or so we thought) Dot dropping dead one night. We continue to help Hattie get better, I posted a distress post with her symptoms. She is currently doing OK. Thanks for the great and helpful website! Better pics when I find them!
