Hello there,
I am new to BYC. My husband and I had 8 chickens before children. It was pretty smooth sailing. We decided to do it again now that our oldest is 6. We have a flock of 16, mixed breeds. 15 hens and 1 rooster. We absolutely love to watch them and let our boys interact with them. It has not been as easy this go round, though. We were looking for more support (enter BYC). So hello. And thank you all in advance.

Well you are not alone! Plenty of us here have had conundrums centered around our poultry compatriots!

I saw the other thread you posted and replied there.
