I'm new to the site and to owning chikens. Well I own just one chick actually but Nugget has definetly became a family pet fast. Everything is going great for us so far. The only troubling thing we've encountered is trying to figure out what breed and age our little chick is. One very funny thing that has happened is when I set the brooder outside during the warm days wild birds hear it crying and bring it twigs grass and leaves. Hahaha! it was the funniest thing I've ever seen.

Thank you! Well it pretty much has a run of the house most of the time. Like an indoor cat or dog ha-ha. However if I notice it getting lonely I will most definitely get it a companion.
