Soon to be first time mommy of 6 chicks here! Very thankful for this forum, it has been an absolute wealth of information. The babies aren't even here yet and I've run in and tweaked their brooder I don't even know how many times now after reading some new tidbit of information. These will be my first feathered additions to the family and I know I will be back here quite a bit for more info. Now to anxiously await their arrival in 10 days!

I ordered them from Meyers Hatchery. I know it's a long way away, but my local feed store only had "Assorted Bantams" and I wanted some LF birds. I did see another poster say that they were in FL and had received their Meyer chicks without any incident. So fingers crossed for the gals to have a safe trip!

Welcome to BYC!

Congrats on the soon to arrive chicks! I hope they make a safe journey to your place.

Definitely stop by the learning center AND the link on raising your chicks for the first 60 days. Mountain Peeps left you with both of these links. Lots of helpful tips on raising your new babies.

Great to have you aboard and welcome to our flock!
