Hello friends!

Love your photos! And, of course, you love chickens! It's almost impossible not to. lol.

It's great that you made the best of the situation and are now creating soap. And, that you are transforming your 12 acres. Sounds like you have some great adventures ahead of you!

Welcome to BYC. As you already know, there are a lot of good people here who are willing to help with anything and everything!

Welcome to BYC!

That old grandpa/grandma doggy face is precious.

Thanks so much everyone for the wonderful welcomes!

My old goldie Buster is going to be 13 years on January 5th! He's an amazing companion and is just the sweetest dog I've ever met. He loves dust bathing with the chickens, and they like to clean off his fur whenever they get a chance. He doesn't show a single sign of his age, he'll run out to the chicken run in seconds, and bounce outside the door before I can even catch up! (Maybe because I usually have food.. :lau)

Yaks have always been something I've wanted, even when I was a kid.. Then I grew up and realized - wait! I can actually do that! Here are some big sweeties from a farm I visited earlier in the year. The people were so sweet and gave my mom and I a big tour of their yak and goat farm! They had tons of chickens too, and I loved seeing how they all interacted with each other!

Thank you all for the well wishes - the new house is definitely a challenge! A workshop we're fixing into a house, and a lot of land that needs love! The guidance here makes everything a little easier, especially with the chickens! :)
