Hello from a back yard chicken newbie

Hello to all who read this,

I am excited to be a member of Back Yard Chickens. I have so much fun wandering through this website looking at peoples chicken coops and learning about how people raise their chickens. We don't actually have chickens yet and we probably wont until spring. I don't want my first experience with chickens to be during the winter months. But my hubby has been busy building a coop for them. I need to take some pictures of the journey from city slicker to chicken owner. I look forward to learning all about how to raise chickens and putting that knowledge into practice. I can't wait to share our stories with all the other back yard chickeners here!
