Welcome Glad you decided to join us! If you can, consider getting two (or three) buddies for her. Chickens are flock animals and do better in a group.... and if something happens to one of them you will not have a lonely chicken

I was just thinking about this today! I think I will get one more. I’d like to find a grown out pullet (6ish weeks) that I can drive and pick up. Is the best place one this site on the BST forum?
