Hello from a new chicken owner!

Have you made Puff a house chicken? If so there is a very good thread on BYC called "people with house chickens." I have a friend with 4 house chickens - silkies and 2 seramas. She has had chickens for over 20 years and all were house chickens.

I think it would be better for her to live outside / roam freely as she pleases in good weather. But during the winter, I'm thinking of bringing her inside of the house. Not sure how I'm going to do that since I'm worried about her trying to peck at electric outlets, etc. : ) Thank you for the suggestion!
