Hello from a new member!

Hello fellow chicken enthusiasts!
I live in Berkeley, California and have 4 eight week old pullets that I raised from when they were day old chicks. A Buff Orpington, a Rhode Island Red, and 2 Aracanas. I never thought that raising chickens would be so much fun. I really love them all and think they're great pets. My non-chicken owning friends eyes glaze over when I talk about how great my chickens are, so I've joined this forum to connect with like minded people. I also find it a terrific resource for my many questions. I love taking photos of the gals (I hope they're all gals!) so I'll be posting some soon.
