(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? I'm new to keeping chickens,got my 1st ones about 3 months ago.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? I have 6 hens, 1 cockerel & 2 chicks
(3) What breeds do you have? I don't know the breed.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? I like the idea of having fresh eggs for breakfast.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? My other hobbies are: travel,photography,reading.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. My wife's name is Ayla,we have a cat called Mia.We live in Turkey & we are both retired. We spend a lot of time at our summer house, where we like to grow our own vegetables.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I was looking for information regarding keeping chickens & BYC came up. I looked at some of the Q&A's on the forum pages & decided I might get some useful information if I joined.
