Hi, Ive just joined your forum and it looks great. Ive been keeping chickens for just over a year now. We have an urban coop and run, with 8 x ex battery hens, one black Annacona cross and two very small and funny penkin bantam roosters.
Were in the process of getting ready for the wet winters (after the wet summers) here and are half way through builing a walk in run, still got to roof it , will be great getting that done as it was a big problem with the mud and general wetness last winter.
I look forward to reading through the posts on this forum and answering some as I love all things chicken

Hello Chickenmummy and welcome from Ohio in the United States!

I feel for ya......My first coop didn't have a covered run, and wet weather made things just awful...such mud! Now, my run is covered and it's all good. Winter wasn't so bad either, as I put tarps up to block the wind.

Keep us posted and good luck! Hope you get it finished before bad weather sets in.....
