~ Dreaming Of Springtime ~
I garden and grow the ~trilogy~Sage, Rosemary & Tyme along with Oregano. I use herbs in my cooking. Pretty basic stuff. All are good to use in keeping chickens. (You most likely know all this)
Oregano-natural antibiotic
Tyme-antibacterial properties good for respiratory issues & dried in the boxes as a insect repellent.
Sage-antioxidants, good in nesting boxes.
Rosemary-pain relief & nesting boxes.
I’m not homeopathic in my chicken keeping. I believe there are times to use medication. But since I’ve already been growing these herbs it’s nice to know they have benefits for my chickens. Best wishes
