Hello from Alaska

Hi all! im an army vet nearing retirement and looking for a slower life in the country. i just bought 80 acres in TX and was hoping to start raising some chickens to help be a little more self sufficient. (gardening, composting, recycling rain water, hunting...et c.)

I hope to learn alot from you guys when i get out of alaska and to my new home. (in 3 years)

near paris. never been there. heck, never even stayed in tx except for a drive through enroute to another state. i bought the property while living in alaska. sounds crazy but i need the security of a place of my own.

Paris Texas is a Good Place to Call Home. I think you will like it there. We live about 2-1/2 hours West of Paris. If you like Bass fishing Paris isn't far from Lake Fork and Cooper Lake. Both Awesome fishing lakes!!! Good Luck!!!
