Other Than Chickens, What Do You collect?

And with the adoption of the Euro, there aren’t as many cool coins to be had from European countries.
I've only been collecting coins from my own country, but I can imagine that those could be.

I think we need a thread where we can post questions and projects for customizing Breyers & such. I am SO impressed with some of the custom pieces I've seen, but I haven't a clue where to start. I've always wanted to try but have been terrified I'd completely ruin the horse. I'm working on customizing a store-bought dollhouse piece and I have a couple of custom repainted dolls. I didn't do them myself. The process is a bit too intimidating - okay, a LOT too intimidating!

The only way to start is with some non-acetone nail polish remover or simple green! You can first try painting techniques and removing paint on a doll you do not care about, before moving on to the horse!
