I would say racoon or a weasel/mink if you have them..i also agree with others..it will be back. easy food source..as i have mentioned before, when food source is easy nature will adapt. I had a momma coon learn the time my hens laid then went in and took them right off their nest!. Finally caught it as it was literally right on time...and moved it.

If you are looking for affordable and super durable netting, I found a source in Europe that makes pro soccer netting (golf and batting cage netting as well) at any size you need. I bought pieces as large as 200' x 20' and 30' x 80' for my enclosure and it cost a fraction of what the cheap bird netting costs. (pic). the netting is bound along the edges, so it is easy to mount and it is UV-rated for 7 years of direct sun exposure. Birds don't get caught in it and it keeps out the Great horned Owls, Red Hawks and Ravens, all of which we have in large numbers here. I chose the 2mm netting, which is actually very thick and holds a bobcat climbing on it. See video:

I don't know about any European sources for netting. I got my original netting off of eBay. I put in a max bid and to my surprise I won the bid. This was many years ago. I didn't have enough to completely cover all of my pens so I bought some off of amazon. It is good netting but not quite as good as the netting I got off of eBay but I haven't been able to find that netting. Here is the netting I got off of amazon.
