Well after reading BYC from front to back over the last month or so I finally took the time to sign up. I have never been very good at these type of forums but appreciae all of the advice many have shared. We are missed placed farmers from Colorado that had to go and find a paying job for the last 25 years. Lived in Texas, New Mexico ,California and finally and hopefully forever now reside in Arkansas. You just cannot take the farm out of the boy or girl for that matter cause my wife is right beside me everyday. We have about 7 or 8 breeds of chickens and seem to want more everytime I go online and look at the pictures. We are on day 17 with our second batch in the bator and hoping we do a beter job this time than the last. We have about 200+ eggs and are hoping , praying, and keeping our fingers crossed.
I have a wonderful wife, 2 daughters, 1 son, 7 fantastic grandkids, 2 dogs, 2 cats, 7 geese, and 5 cows.
