Welcome! I haven't been on the site since March, so I feel new! I'm in Littleton Colorado, not too far. You'll love chickens; I have a dozen, and they're really fun (and everyone loves me because of the eggs)

Welcome from NC, but I feel the need to mention my brother lives in Aurora! We've been to visit and its a pretty area. Good for you for taking the plunge into BYC.

I am new to BYC too, and I love it already.

Oh, side note... I sold something to a lady from the Springs the other day, and when she came to pick it up, she was surprised because she didn't know roosters really crowed.....

That's funny about the roosters. I keep having people say "Why??" When I say I am getting chickens. Um... the eggs? They lay eggs? Really? Um, yes.

We went to Murdoch's today over in Littleton, Bandobrown, to get a waterer, feeder, and food, and oooooh, the baby chicks were so cute and I'm so excited!!!! Ours arrive on the 24th of March.
