Hello:) Our family has just stated keeping chickens.

We have 3 Isa Brown hens, and will be getting at least 3 more.

I am also going to get some "Easter Egger" chicks after Easter this year!

We have a large enclosed Chook house as well as a Chicken Tractor that we have just finished building.

Hello :frow and Welcome To BYC! Sounds like you are putting together a nice flock! Those ISAs should lay a lot of eggs and the green/blue ones from the EEs are always fun.
Be sure to check out the BYC Learning Center, lots of good articles on all aspects of chicken keeping. https://www.backyardchickens.com/atype/1/Learning_Center
And you might like to check out the Australia thread for your chicken keeping neighbors https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/598568/australia-six-states-and-that-funny-little-island

Good luck with your poultry raising adventures, and I hope you find everything you need to know. Don't forget to take a look at BYC's very useful learning center (If you haven't already)! The learning center as well as the forum should answer your questions! There is always something new to learn! Glad to have you here! See you around with the flock.

It's definitely addictive...I also now have 2 Araucana hens and 6 eggs in an old Bellsouth Incubator...

and 3 more Isa Browns...so 8 hens. We will be knee deep in eggs soon! We already get 3 nice large eggs every morning.
