I've been reading a lot from this site but just joined.
I have:
3 Lavender Muscovy ducklings. One little boy and two little girls
1 adult boy Pekin. His brother was killed by a coyote about 3 months ago.
4 chickens and 1 happy rooster.
2 male young black shouldered peacocks
2 female baby black shouldered peacocks
3 baby bourbon red turkeys. 2 boys and a girl.
1 lionhead bunny
3 cats
1 Great Dane puppy
3 baby boy goats

I'm looking for Green Peas!

Nice to e-meet everyone :)

Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided to join our flock. I'm sorry about the loss of your duck to a coyote. It's always sad to lose one of our flock. I'm a chicken person, but I have to admit that ducklings are the ultimate in cute.) If you haven't done so already, definitely check out our Learning Center at https://www.backyardchickens.com/atype/1/Learning_Center. There is loads of useful information there. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck with your flock.

Thank you Michael :)
The coyote got two of my beloved turkeys too.
That was my biggest heart break. My boy turkey Jones used to sit in bed with me and watch TV.
I never knew you could bond with a turkey.
We have put a lot of work into securing everyone at night.
It'll never happen again hopefully.
Anyway, thanks again.
I'm glad to be here!

Hi, welcome to BYC!

I'm sorry to hear of your loss, that's always tough. I'm not surprised you bonded with a turkey, heck, I never thought I'd feel about chickens the way I do.

You might want to check out the peafowl forum, both because you have some and because you want some more. I only have chickens but enjoy looking at the beautiful birds on that part of BYC. Here's a link to get you there:

Best of luck to you. Thanks for joining us!

Welcome, glad you decided to join us.

So sorry about your losses, especially turkey Jones

.

I've lost 2 of my hens recently and totally understand your grief. Most people I know really don't believe that our relationships with poultry can be as close as theirs with traditional pets.

Welcome to the BYC flock! Glad you are joining us!

Sounds like you have quite the menagerie of animals there! I hope you find a wealth of information here for all of your animals and I bet you will be able to contribute as well.

Thanks for joining us!

Thanks everyone!
I'm excited to be here!
The information I've gained by reading the forums has been invaluable :)
Thanks for such a warm feathery welcome!

Thank you Michael

You're welcome, and I'm sorry about the loss of your turkeys.
