I've had chickens for about 15 years

3 chickens named Betsy, Clyde and Rosita.
3 ducks named Daisy, Daphne and Delilah.
(3) What breeds do you have?
Just mutts, easter Eggers.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
I enjoy their company while doing yard work and they are great for keeping weeds at bay. They all make me laugh, even when I'm in the worst of moods.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I enjoy cycling, hiking, camping and food preservation. I have a garden sometimes.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I've been married to my husband for 35 years. We have two kids, three grandkids and a couple of very spoiled fur babies.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
A friend has been telling me about BYC on Facebook for years but I don't have any social media. I finally decided to join here because I've been able to find useful information several times in the past.
