Hi,
I am a grade one teacher. Every year a co teacher and I hatch chicks in an incubator in my classroom. We have a local farm that that gives us the eggs and then the chicks go back to the farm when they are about 3 or 4 weeks old. Our students love it and of course I do too. So this year I had to take the incubator home with me when schools closed down. Considering everything (I normally would never unplug and move my incubator) the hatch went really well. I currently have 12 baby chicks in a brooder in my family room! I have been reading the posts on this site for help and information for about two years now off and on. I joined and made my first post because I think one of my little chicks may have splayed leg or a slipped tendon and was hoping to get some advice. (I made a post about that under injuries.) I am hoping to one day have chickens of my own
Thanks for adding me!
