Hello everyone. The wife and I own an 11 acre farm with an erratic of animals including lambs, pigs, rabbits, and numerous chickens free range as well as controlled environments. Our egg layers free range. We have silkie Bantams and Auracanas in enclosures to keep pure breed. Every animal on our farm has a purpose. I love the forum for ideas and Idle chit chat

I do envy your ability to let your flock free-range. There are too many predators in my area, so my small flock have to live in confinement - but are quite spoiled, happy hens

So, do you find eggs all around? Or do your birds go to nest boxes? Nest boxes here and there? Just wondering with so much land and they free land. Jealous..of all that land!
