I'm right in the center pretty much. Close to the zoo and on the way to just about everywhere. If you've been to Belize and ventured out of the Cayes you likely went past us. Cheers Restaurant at Mile 31 & 1/4 on the Western Highway.
When I got home last night the oinkers were conked out in front of one of the horse's stalls.
Them are some happy pigs.
This morning they were sharing breakfast with the chickens.
My two polish cross and the Cochin Bantams
One Roo and Chicha
and one of my good laying hens. I love her markings, I hope at least one of the chicks are from her.
No I have two, one black and one white. The white one is juvenile and the black might start laying soon.
I'll get some better pics of them soon.
In getting my flock I just put the word out that I was looking for some funky chickens and gathered them from all over. Anyone that knew of someone who knew someone with chickens passed the word for me and I ended up with three batches from south, west and just down the road.
Thanks. I am both surprised and delighted that so many were successful on my first try. I fiddled and farted with the 'bater for three weeks learning how to tweak it before risking any eggs.
