Hello from Bend, Oregon!

We have 8 sex-link pullets in an A-Frame tractor (http://au.lifestyle.yahoo.com/b/better-homes-gardens/479/chicken-coop) that my husband built on our 1/2 acre. I am a stay-at-home mom of two boys - Hunter (5) and Jack (3.5). We also have 4 dogs - Shelby (Aussie mix), Abby (English Setter), Tiger (Pom) & Olly (Chi-Terrier). My husband grew up on acreage doing 4H & FFA...but I was a city girl who always wanted to be a country girl. I LOVE fresh eggs, & have been wanting to do chickens for ages. Our neighbors have always had them, & we finally got chicks shortly before Easter. They're about 2 months old now. My cousin & her husband introduced us to this forum, & I look forward to learning & sharing!

Hi there! WELCOME I'm just across the pass but head that direction for work quite often! I have 6 chickens.....3 EE's 2 RIRs and 1 black cochin! LOVE THEM. Are your babies locked up safe and sound. You have way more predators than me.
