Hi,

My name is Dani and I am the proud mama of my 8 little chicks... I've been wanting chickens for years, and after helping a neighbor tend to theirs last year, we took the plunge at our new house. We have 2 acres and a beautiful coop my dad made us; plus a 11x40 foot run. Hopefully we have extremely happy chickens.

We have 2 Americanas (1 brown, 1 albino we think), 1 Blue/Red Laced Wyandotte, 1 Speckled Sussex, 1 Maran, 1 Buff Orp, 1 Barred Rock and 1 Ancona. 3 of them are now about 2 weeks old, the other 5 are about a week old. I would love to share pictures, if I can figure out how

Hello! Thanks for the warm welcome --- I figured out pictures; here are two of my girls a few days ago. The Red/Blue Wyandotte (gray), and Speckled Sussex (the teeny tiny one that is no bigger than a Large egg)!
