Hi everyone! My name is Lauren, currently living in Bozeman MT. My husband and I are first time chicken owners and are so excited! We have 5 chicks that are about 1-1.5 weeks old: Rosie the Dark Brahma, Ginny the Rhode Island Red, Stella the Buff Orpington, Bonnie the Barred Rock, and Annette the Mottled Houdan. They are cute and fun, but really I'm excited for them to get a bit older and to get them out in the (yet to be set up yet) coop!

Looking forward to connecting with you all!

Hello! Welcome :)!! :welcome
Come to us with any questions, and we'll do our best to help
Just wanted to mention: Those are amazing first-time chicken owner breeds - a mixture of good egg-layers, fluff, and overall beauty! Enjoy!

Thank you, that was our goal! Variety, and ones that are maybe on the "easier" side for first time owners. Like the golden retrievers of chickens. :)

Next year we would really love a type of Wyandotte and perhaps a Speckled Sussex. Learning about chicken math realllllll quick.
