Thank you, that was our goal! Variety, and ones that are maybe on the "easier" side for first time owners. Like the golden retrievers of chickens.

Next year we would really love a type of Wyandotte and perhaps a Speckled Sussex. Learning about chicken math realllllll quick.

Those are some good choices as well. Wyandottes are good because in the winter when everyone slows down or completely stop, Wyandottes will keep going. And they come in beautiful colors!
