I'm going to check out amazon again. When I looked before it turned out to be cheaper at a local farm store but maybe I calculated wrong.

Unfortunately we will be dealing with bears. We live in the mountains of BC - part of their homeland.

The setup for the beehives at Loutet farms in North Van is a good example of bearproofing for animals, if they are still there, and could be adapted for secure run. Looking forward to seeing your set up!
