Hello from Brooklyn, NY!!!

[La Finca]

Hi all:

I've had a community garden for 27 years now. Since I can remember, we've had chickens. We enjoy taking care of them; kids love them; keeps us all in touch with our Puerto Rican roots....thus the name "La Finca" (The Farm).

This site is a great tool for me as you can never stop learning. By biggest issue at the moment, is identifying the bread of chickens I currently have. These chickens were donated to us years ago. Just 6 months ago, 4 new chicks were hatched and doing great.

I will post some pictures here soon and hopefully you guys can help me ID them. I've also just built a new coop that is a work in progress as its freezing here in NYC now.
